Neon16 Partners With NFL For First-Ever Mixtape

As part of their “Por La Cultura” initiative, the NFL has announced a partnership with production powerhouse NEON16 to release its first-ever “Por La Cultura Mixtape” led by multi-platinum selling creatives One Six and hitmaker, Tainy.

The collaboration is made-up of a series of exclusive tracks, including newly released power collab “Rompela” featuring Yandel, El Alfa and Will.I.Am, which is the first track on the mixtape and backdrop of the “Por La Cultura” campaign kickoff spot, titled “The Celebration.”

In addition to the TV spot, “Rómpela” will be included in league and local level activations and content throughout the 2022 season.

This partnership announcement comes on the heels of an unforgettable NFL Kickoff performance by J Balvin and Trueno, which got fans and Clubs more excited and eager than ever to connect with Latin culture in dynamic ways.

“We are happy to once again partner with the NFL in impacting culture. Football is  an American tradition that has now become a household tradition for Latinos too; and to be able to influence the music played in games and campaigns is exciting and allows us to continue to push our culture forward,” comments Lex Borrero (NEON16, One Six).

The NFL’s “Por La Cultura” (For the Culture) campaign highlights Latino players, coaches and staff, celebrates Latino excellence and tells authentic stories of the community all season long. The initiative features a variety of cultural and community-driven activities at both the national and local level, and this season, the league introduces new partnerships and activations that are designed to celebrate “la cultura Latina.”
