NFL’s “El Snap Draft Contest” has come to an end. Tainy, Lex Borrero y Pablo Batista de NEON16, junto a Puerto Rico’s radio host Molusco, anunciaron el ganador, el artista de Puerto Rico,Chris Rowz.
The winner was announced during a live show with radio host Molusco “Los Reyes De La Punta”, & por lamusica.com. Rowz fue seleccionado por el equipo de A&R de NEON16 y Tainy, quienes revisaron todas las propuestas. El concurso recibió más de 3,700 entradas de todas partes del mundo, incluyendo Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, United States and Venezuela.
In partnership with NFL En Español and El Snap, the contest shined a light on the dedication, drive and hope of aspiring American Latino NFL fans and musical talent. As the winning artist, Chris’s music will appear in next season’s NFL mixtape, produced by award winning producer and artist Tainy and NEON16. In addition he will be given the opportunity to participate in official NFL events, NFL programming and social networks, and receive digital and press support through the LaMúsica/SBS network.
The NFL’s El Snap Draft contest also aims to honor the joy, love and passion that spans and connects several generations of multicultural fans across a variety of communities. The NFL’s El Snap brand engages Latino fans through culturally relevant experiences, highlighting music, gaming, and fashion, among others, within all NFL media platforms that have mainstream appeal with Latino emphasis. The winner of El Snap Draft The NFL’s El Snap Draft contest rolled out on properties including NFL En Español, NFL Mexico, the NFL’s Spanish-language broadcast partners and various NFL owned and operated channels.
Prior to this new campaign, the creative team at NEON16 collaborated with the NFL on last season’s NFL Shop campaign, which featured NEON16 breakout star, JODOSKY. After taking note of the Puerto Rican artist’s crossover appeal, the NFL tapped his song “Campeón,” which celebrates the champion in all of us, for the NFL Shop’s “Make the Game Yours” ad campaign that can be viewed by visiting the NFL En Español’s YouTube channel.
