Maker’s Mark is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by collaborating with local and International Latin Artists to help tell their stories through art.
On Thursday, Puerto Rican artist Don Rimx and Maker’s Mark gathered at a local restaurant, for food drinks and the unveiling of their joint collaboration; a mural that honors and celebrates hispanic influences and cultural backgrounds.
Don Rimx was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 2009, Don moved to Brooklyn, Ny which ended up having a profound effect on his work. Don Rimx’s Mural, whose influences include the works of Lorenzo Homar, Jose Alixia Rafael Tufino and Joaquin Sorolla, is a visual celebration of his cultural upbringing.
