Camilo, Juan Luis Guerra & C. Tangana Lead Nominations This Year at 22nd Annual Latin Grammys

The 22nd annual Latin GRAMMY Nominees

The nominations for this years 2021 Latin Grammys were announced this morning and leading this year’s nominations are, Drum roll please, Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo, Dominican bachata singer Juan Luis Guerra and el rapero madrileño C. Tangana.

Camilo leads the pack with nominations in 10 categories, including album of the year, song of the year and record of the year, for which he’s twice nominated: for “Vida de Rico” and “Amén.”

C. Tangana releases his highly anticipated album El Madrileño

Coming in hot with 5 nominations including ‘album of the year’ is el madrileño rapper-singer C. Tangana who is a previous Latin Grammy winner for his songwriting in Rosalia’s “El Mal Querer”.

No surprise that San Benito, Bad Bunny is also in the running for album of the year for “El Último Tour del Mundo.” El conejo malo scoring a total of four nods including his top-charting hit “Dákiti,” con Jhay Cortez. The sencillo made history when it topped los Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and the Global 200; it peaked at No. 5 on the Hot 100. “Dákiti” esta nominado for best urban song.

This year’s Best New Artist category, includes Giulia Be, María Becerra, Bizarrap, Boza, Zoe Gotusso, Humbe, Rita Indiana, Lasso, Paloma Mami, Marco Mares and Juliana Velásquez.

But of course everyone wants to know what the ‘song of the year’ will be and vying for Song Of The Year are the following:
