Lois Duncan’s 1997 iconic film “I Know What You Did Last Summer” is coming back to haunt us in a new mystery thriller coming this fall on Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon released the official teaser trailer for I Know What You Did Last Summer and we can’t help but feel terrified and excited at the same time.
The story takes places one year after a fatal car accident that haunted a group of teenagers on graduation night. The teens find themselves bound together by a dark secret and stalked by a brutal killer.
As they try to piece together who’s after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town—and themselves. Everyone is hiding something and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly.
Sara Goodman writes and executive produces alongside original film’s Neal H. Moritz and Pavun Shetty, Erik Feig, and Peter Guber, to name a few. The series stars Madison Iseman, Bill Heck, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, and Brooke Bloom.
“I Know What You Did Last Summer” is produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television.
The first four episodes are now available on Screeners.com and will premiere Friday, October 15, with new episodes airing each Friday following, leading up to the season finale on November 12.
