Gente De Zona Will Bring La Gozadera to Carnaval Miami 2024

The magic cities biggest block party Carnaval Miami returns to ‘La calle ocho’ for yet another fun-filled year showcasing the best in art, music, fashion, food, sports and entertainment. Bringing the gozadera to this year’s event are Latin Grammy winners Gente De Zona who have been declared as this year’s ‘Kings of Carnaval’ by Kiwanis Club of Little Havana. In addition, this year’s poster artist was revealed as Colombian-American artist Danny Dora who unveiled his poster for Carnaval Miami.

Carnaval Miami is the cities longest standing tradition and the biggest hispanic festival in the country. It serves as the annual marquee fundraiser for Kiwanis Club of Little Havana in support of the Kiwanis Little Havana Foundation’s youth development programs. It represents an economic impact of $40M for local artists, vendors, and small businesses throughout the Greater Miami area. Host to a series of captivating events that attract one million attendees each year, Carnaval Miami 2024 is best known as host of the country’s largest ‘Latino’ experiential event, Calle Ocho Music Festival.

Also returning this year is the Coral Gables street festival, Carnaval on the Mile, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024. The festival highlights art, world music, fine cuisine, and children’s entertainment all weekend. GRAMMY winner Tony Succar and Latin GRAMMY winner Ed Calle are among the headliners for the three concert stages at the 25th Anniversary edition of Carnaval on the Mile. The longtime event consists of live music, a mile of paintings, crafts, photography and jewelry of the highest caliber creating a cultural experience for the enjoyment of all age groups.

Carnaval Miami 2024 officially kicks off on February 10th with the Miss Carnaval pageant. The winner of the pageant will be crowned and awarded cash prizes and a scholarship as well as the opportunity to be the face of Carnaval Miami 2024.

  • February 10 MISS CARNAVAL MIAMI at the Manuel Artime Theater, A pageant of elegance, beauty, talent, poise and community involvement to select Miss Carnaval Miami 2024 and court. The winners become hosts of all Carnaval Miami 2024 festivities, and brand ambassadors for the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana and Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation. Miss Carnaval Miami’s one-year reign will be filled with memorable moments and experiences that foster her growth as both an individual and community leader. Additional perks include a college scholarship and gifts.
  • February 22 CARNAVAL MIAMI GOLF CLASSIC, Trump National Doral
    Connect with VIPs at this Carnaval Miami-flavored tournament to benefit the Kiwanis
    Little Havana Foundation’s scholarship awards. All proceeds benefit four-year college
    scholarships awarded every year to students who otherwise would not have the
    opportunity of a higher education. 
  • March 2 – 3 CARNAVAL ON THE MILE, Coral Gables, Miracle Mile
    Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Carnaval on the Mile is a free weekend-long festival of
    art, world music, fine cuisine, and children’s entertainment. GRAMMY winner Tony
    Succar and Latin GRAMMY winner Ed Calle are among the headliners for the three

  • March 4-6 CARNAVAL MIAMI DOMINO TOURNAMENT Domino Park
    A classic Little Havana cultural experience becomes a friendly but passionate contest at
    the Carnaval Miami Domino Tournament. Domino enthusiasts from around the country
    gather for a laid-back afternoon of laughter and fierce competition.
  • March 10 CALLE OCHO MUSIC FESTIVAL, From SW 12th to 27th Avenue Miami
    The Calle Ocho Music Festival will take over 15 street blocks in Little Havana where attendees will enjoy musical stages, international foods, folkloric dances and entertainment for family and friends.
  • CARNAVAL SOCCER 5V5 CHALLENGE at Amelia Earhart Soccer Park The Carnaval Miami 5v5 Soccer Challenge provides an afternoon of fun and healthy activities for the whole family.
